Building Codes

All of the plan sets featured on amicalolahomeplans.com meet or exceed the International Residential Code set forth by the ICC. Our designers are Certified Building Designers by the NCBDC. Plan set include sheets identified in a Typical Plan Set. A state registered structural engineer may be required to be engaged per your local building codes. Local jurisdictions may supersede the IRC with more stringent local building requirements. Complying with these local codes and/or requirements is the client’s responsibility and not that of amicalolahomeplans.com or it’s designers. Any required plan modifications per local codes will require written approval from the designer.
